Browse through the stalls of Baleh Market, which is part of the Suez Canal's 'free zone', and enjoy tax-free shopping on Egyptian souvenirs, from camel carvings and pyramid postcards to pocket-size replicas of King Tut's Tomb. Then check out Al-Hamidi Market and shop for locally made papyrus paper and fresh Egyptian spices, such as saffron, cardamom and turmeric.
