Your Aquanauts' time onboard will not only be fun, it will be educational too! They'll get to learn about local customs, do cool science experiments and make great new friends. To participate, children must be fully potty-trained and 3 years of age as of the first day of the cruise. (No pull-ups or diapers, please.) You can rest assured your little ones are in good hands - every member of our Adventure Ocean^® staff holds a college degree in education, recreation or a related field and has experience working with children ages 3-17.

Available On All Ships

Available of Allure of the Seas and starting in 2011 on Oasis of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas, and Liberty of the Seas your kids will enjoy fun activities such as a story time, dance parties and more with characters from the DreamWorks Animation movies. Just imagine the laughs when they meet Alex, Shrek, Fiona and more.

Adventure Science by High Touch High Tech
Conducted by our specially trained Adventure Scientists, this program combines fun and hands-on science experiments. Featured programs include: Wacky Water Workshop, Magnetic Mayhem, Jurassic Jr., Sea Creature Treasures, Gummy Candies and Bubbling Potions.

Adventure Art by Crayola^®
These activities acquaint kids with diverse cultures through art. Children are introduced to mask making, fish kites and pottery. Crayola Adventure Art projects are specifically designed art activities for children ages 3-11. Using art as an avenue for exploration, the lesson plans provide a unique onboard experience for children, incorporating information about specific geographic locations with hands-on art. Crayola Art projects make creativity a part of every child's experience wherever they may travel.

Sail Into Storytime
These theme-related storytime sessions bring each story to life with activities, discussions on each story and hands-on activities for the children to participate in following each reading.

Adventure Theater
Blending educational activities with on-your-feet fun, Adventure Theater participants get a first taste of the actor's craft, in which entire worlds are created with just their bodies, voices and imaginations. Using structured theater games, vocal and physical exercises, and creativity-freeing activities, instructors guide groups through an exploration of the theater arts.

Fisher-Price Programming
We have paired with our friends at Fisher-Price to bring the fun to you! Parents can be sure their youngsters will have a good time and learn something too in this program designed by the experts at Fisher-Price. Children will get a chance to play with Fisher-Price's newest and greatest toys!

Other Games and Theme Activities
Nutty Nicknames, Un-Birthday Party, Camp Aquanauts, Ice-Cream Party, Super Hero Afternoon, Face Painting, Pirate Night, Talent Show, Under The Sea Night and Pajama Rama Movie Night.

Out Island Activities on CocoCay^® and Labadee^®
Aquanauts can enjoy Adventure Beach activities on itineraries that call on CocoCay and Labadee. Kids can join the Adventure Ocean staff and participate in Sand Castle Building, Drip Drip Drop, Adventure Family Water Balloon Toss, Beach Relays, Parachute Games and a search for Labadectal and Cocodactal eggs. Your little ones can also participate in a fun-filled track experience in kid-sized battery operated Fisher-Price vehicles on CocoCay. These Cadillac Escalades and Barbie Jammin' Jeeps travel approximately 2-4 mph and will accommodate children up to 130 pounds.

Late Night Party Zone
Stay up late with your new friends and have fun! Join the Adventure Ocean staff for late-night games and entertainment. The rate is $6 per hour, per child. Payment is in half-hour increments. Please bring your SeaPass card. Please note that the Late Night Party Zone will close when the last child signs out or at 2:00 a.m., whichever comes first.

It's always time for birthday fun with Little People friends!
Little kids love birthdays?and they love Little People friends! So they?ll really love the fun of a live musical show featuring bigger-than-life Little People characters who sing, dance and share special friendship. The show is full of fun surprises and opportunities for audience interaction, and it?s followed by a birthday party just for the kids!

Hours

Hours apply to all Aquanauts programs. At Sea: 9 a.m. to noon, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. In Port: Thirty minutes prior to the first shore excursion to 5 p.m. or return of last shore excursion, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
