Como is situated at the tip of the southwestern branch of Lake Como in Lombardy. The popular vacation destination is an ancient town more than 400 years old with magnificent churches and historic monuments. Considered a town off the beaten track, there are many incredible places to see and things to do such as visiting beautiful towns and villages tucked away in the surrounding mountains. Though there is much to do in town, exploring the surrounding towns of Bellagio, Laglio and Menaggio (which can be reached by boat, cable car or by car) is the real treat.
