Florida Points of Light
Since 2000, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. has been the sole sponsor of the Florida Governor's Points of Light Award program, which recognizes Florida organizations and individuals demonstrating exemplary volunteer service in their community.
Make-A-Wish Foundation: Wishes At Sea
Through our national partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, we are proud to help make dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses. Through Wishes at Sea, established in 2000, we commit a certain number of cruise packages to granting wishes each year. We work with local Wish chapters to help create the perfect wish for each child whose desire is to have an unforgettable dream-come-true vacation with his or her family. While onboard, we treat them like royal celebrities.
Scholarships
Every year, we give merit-based college scholarships to high school children of our employees who qualify through the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). Additionally, the Fain Scholarship Fund established in 1999 by Richard D. Fain, chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., offers educational scholarships for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. employees, their spouses and children.

The Steve Redgrave Fund
The Steve Redgrave Fund has been adopted by Royal Caribbean as an official charity for the next 2 years and we’ve had huge take up for the two-day charity cruise as part of the Independence of the Seas Inaugurals to launch this partnership. The Steve Redgrave Fund was established by Sir Steve, who won a gold medal for rowing in five consecutive Olympics, in 2001 to improve opportunities for children across the UK. The charity has touched the lives of many thousands of young people in the UK over the past seven years.
