Embrace the Moorish heritage and spiritual essence of Granada while on an eight-hour exploration that lets you discover the old Albaicin and Judeira quarters, Alcaiceria's market stalls, plus the Cathedral and Royal Chapel. Relax on a coach drive through Spain's beautiful Andalusia region to the town of Granada, nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Walk narrow streets through Albaicin, the old Arab quarter where in the 11th century housed 30 mosques and now offers spectacular views of the Alhambra, a 9th-century hilltop palace and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn about the local Jewish community's cultural past in the Juderia neighborhood before making your way to Alcaiceria, known as the Great Bazaar of Granada. A hub of the silk trade in the 15th century brimming with some 200 stalls, this shopping area today is the perfect place to pick up Arabic craftwork, fajalauza ceramics, granadino faroles lamps and Moroccan herbs. You'll then stand before the fourth-largest cathedral in the world before stepping inside to admire its silver-laden tabernacle and 18th-century organs. Next door in the Royal Chapel, behold a mix of Gothic and Renaissance architecture and the tombs of Spanish monarchs, including Queen Isabella I and King Ferdinand.

Kindly note that due to the latest health and safety policies, only vaccinated guests with approved documentation may participate in this Shore Excursion.
