Take a journey that illuminates the connection between the production of rum and the historical and cultural heritage of the island. Visit Bagshaws for silk screen printing then Eudovic's for wooden carvings.
Your tour continues through the distillery where it becomes clear that the making of rum has its own distinct rhythm and flavour. From molasses vats holding the dark viscous aromatic raw material to the pot and column stills, you are encouraged to engage all senses and understand the unique phenomenon that is rum making. Walk through the Carnival section where colourful costumes and the melodic sounds of steel pan envelope visitors. At last the tour ends with a tasting of an impressive range and find the rum or rums which best fits your palate.
