On this tour you will get to know the cultural roots and the main traditions of this unique Island. Tenerife has managed to create a perfect symbiosis between tradition and modernity. It has carefully kept the tradition of its unique and popular celebrations, such as the numerous "fiestas" and "romerias", which take place every year.

In order to dive into the cultural Tenerife, you will start the tour with a visit to La Laguna, a charming, beautiful, monumental city with many historic buildings of great value. La Laguna is currently the second city of the Island, and used to be its capital since 1723. It is considered the cultural and religious town due to its old University and the Palacio del Obispo (Bishop's Palace). Wander by the old quarter of the city where you will admire its more representative monuments from the XVII and XVIII centuries.

Then you will journey back to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, for a guided tour by bus. Santa Cruz de Tenerife, located in the northern west part of the Island, is the capital and main administrative and political spot of the occidental Canary Islands and is known for being lively city and for housing one of the most important and crowded ports in Spain with its natural bay. Our last visit for the day will be at The Man and Nature Museum, located in the Old Civil Hospital. After visiting the museum, you will return to the ship.

Note: Guests must be able to walk approximately 1 mile over cobblestone, concrete and paved sidewalks.
