Full Description:
Begin your half-day journey with a scenic motor coach ride from the town of Kotor along the Budva Riviera. The road leads to panoramic views of the jewel of the coast, world renowned hotel resort Sveti Stefan. Once a 15th century sleepy fishing village, it is a modern resort connected to the mainland by a natural causeway today. Pause for a photo above the island and continue to the seaside resort of Budva, one of the oldest settlements in the Balkans. Budva is surrounded by ramparts from the XV century, including a medieval fortification system with city gates, defense walls and towers. Inside the walls, the town is a collection of narrow streets and squares with treasured monuments. Today Budva is a tourism destination and a city of theaters, festivals and celebrations. It is a summer stage for cultural productions. Time permitting; enjoy approximately 60 minutes of free time while in Budva. At the conclusion of your time in Budva, rejoin your guide and proceed by motor coach bound for Kotor.

The old town of Kotor is one of the best preserved and most beautiful medieval fortified towns in the Mediterranean. It developed within a small triangular area enclosed by walls forming a unique fortification able to resist attacks for months and survive long sieges. Walk with your guide for a view of the walls, constructed by Venetians from 1420 through the mid-18th century. The 5 km long wall extends to the Fort of St. John.  Proceed through this charming little town for a visit to the Cathedral of St. Tryphon, built in 1166. The cathedral is a Romanesque basilica whose nave is separated from the aisles by alternating square pillars and antique columns.  Complete your walking tour with a visit to the famous Maritime Museum with its valuable collection of the area's rich maritime heritage.
