Begin your journey with a motor coach ride to the cable car station near the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Ascend by cable car to the summit of Srd Hill for a bird’s eye view of the city and surroundings of the centuries old Dubrovnik rooftops which you will never forget.
Afterwards, follow your guide on foot to the Old Town of Dubrovnik for a walking tour and free time. Your stroll through the Old Town will open the doors to one of the largest and most luxurious open air museum towns in existence. The famous Croatian tourist center awaits you, encircled by its monumental stone ramparts, which have preserved and enhanced Dubrovnik’s renaissance spirit. Then, wander the labyrinth of narrow stone streets, strolling past the marketplace, palaces, towers, monasteries, and houses, each of which is over 300 years old! The old masters understood how to construct a miraculously harmonious stone city. This harmony, simplicity and sense of beauty have become the philosophy of life for Dubrovnik residents through the ages. Dubrovnik was the bridge and diplomatic liaison between the east and west. It has been subject to fires and catastrophic earthquakes, but has always risen again like the “Phoenix” to retain its renown as a world famous treasury of cultural monuments.
At the conclusion of the walking tour and free time, you'll return by motor coach to the ship.
