Full Description:
Between the sea and the hills, the region of Garraf, south of Barcelona, hides one of the best-kept secrets of the Golden Coast, Sitges. The town of Sitges' main attraction is the large number of clean sandy beaches. Fifteen fine golden sand beaches with their pristine waters along more than 2.5 miles of city coastline and seven beaches in the municipal district make Sitges one of the best places in the Mediterranean to sunbathe and enjoy the sea. Yearly, the European Union awards the blue flag eco-label to several of Sitges' beaches, a credit to their high environmental quality and healthy waters. As a result, tourists christened Sitges as "The Golden Beach of the Mediterranean Sea".
Begin your adventure with an approximately 1 hour scenic ride to Sitges. Soak up the sun, swim in the salty sea or simply join in a game of beach volleyball, soccer or experience a water sport. Spend approximately 4.5 hours free time in one of the many public beaches relaxing under the sun and/or swimming. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for rent at the beach on a first availability basis. Beach taverns nearby provide refreshments or a light snack at guests’ expense. At the designated time and place, rejoin your coach for return to the ship.

-You should always take your SeaPass card (provided onboard the ship) and photo identification when in port.
-Euros for incidentals.
-Sun protection and sunglasses.
-Towel (available onboard the ship).

-This tour provides transportation to Sitges, a 60-minute drive from the pier and allows you to enjoy 4.5 hours on the beach or in the village.
-Refreshments are not included in the tour price; therefore, it is suggested to have local currency with you. Credit cards are generally accepted in the shops, bars and restaurants.
-There are a few facilities available on the beach but items such as sunscreen, hat and towels should be taken with you. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for hire directly from the providers.
-There is a possibility that some nudity may be observed on the beach.
