Enjoy a visit to the Sankeien Gardens, walk among the many ponds, streams and undulating paths. Sankei Hara designed and created the garden in the image of the Nara countryside plus many historic buildings, such as Tomyo-ji former three-story pagoda, originally constructed in Kyoto in 1457 and relocated in 1914. He opened the garden to the public in 1906. Sankeien evolved as Hara scoured ancient capitals for buildings.

You will then drive to the 296 m high, 70-story Yokohama Landmark Tower, which opened in 1993, which is Japan's tallest building. The world's fastest elevator, traveling at 750 meters per minute, whisks visitors to the 69th floor observatory in just 40 seconds. The observatory offers superb views of Mt. Fuji, the Tanzawa Mountains, the Boso Peninsula, and Tokyo. The Tower's skeleton is flexible in order to withstand the many earthquakes that jolt the Kanto region. At its base Old Yokohama Dock No.2 (built in 1896) has been restored as an event plaza called Dock Yard Garden.

Note: Flight departure times of all participants on the tour should be 2 hours after the arrival at the airport.
