Visit La Popa, the still-inhabited ancient monastery, then enter the walled city and walk to Bolivar Plaza, stopping for photos at colonial fortress San Felipe de Barajas. Cobblestone streets lead past Saint Peter Claver Cathedral, and Inquisition Palace, as you make your way to the Pre-Columbian Gold Museum to admire valuable artifacts and some of the oldest ceramics in the Americas.
