Full Description:
Experience a guided tour of the colorful history and characters of Key West on comfortable beach cruiser bikes. You will bike to where Jimmy Buffet lived, wrote, first performed, and Margaritaville, of course. Stop by the Pier House whose bartender was the inspiration for the song "Pirate Looks at 40" and Jimmy's favorite hangouts like Louie's Backyard.
You will visit top destinations like Captain Tony's, Sloppy Joe's, Ernest Hemingway House, and President Harry Truman's Winter White House. Take pictures at the marker of the Southernmost Point of the United States, just 90 miles north of Cuba. Make a stop at the famous Key West Cemetery, the final resting place too many of Key West's most colorful characters with epitaphs like "I told you I was sick!" Along the way, you will learn about the history of the "Conch Republic", ship wrecking, and pirates.
Since this is the Key Lime Bike Tour, finish with a complimentary piece of frozen Key Lime Pie dipped in Belgian chocolate – a must do experience in Key West!
