The Botanical Park of Askordalos which is nearly twenty hectares of land is waiting to welcome you. You’ll lean about the secrets of the Cretan diet and take part in preparing a Cretan dish with local products and extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy a walk in the park and taste the fruits of your labor together with local house wine Romeiko and Vilano. Your tour will continue to Chania town. Chania is a city of unique beauty, filled with an abundance of fragrant flowers and boasting a rich cultural heritage. Note: Guests must be able to walk approximately 2 miles over varying terrain and surfaces with some steps and inclines. Comfortable, non-slip walking shoes are recommended. If guests should miss the return bus, transportation back to the vessel is their own responsibility and at their own expense. The drive from Souda Port to the Botanical Park is approximately 40 minutes and the return drive from town is roughly 30 minutes, dependent upon traffic conditions.
