Full Description:
You will board the deluxe coach at the pier with your luggage at approximately 9am and begin a narrated tour that focuses on the past, present, and future of New Orleans. Your professional tour guide will provide an informative narration as the coach passes many of the famous and historical attractions that have made New Orleans famous, including the Louisiana Superdome, Loyola and Tulane University campuses, and the French Quarter where New Orleans began in 1718 and now home to Bourbon Street, sidewalk cafes and hundreds of antique shops and famous restaurants. The first portion of the tour will take about 45 minutes, traffic depending.
You will have a short 20 minute walking tour of a local cemetery which are often called the “city of the dead” because of the aboveground tombs. Then it will be back on your coach and a continuation of the sightseeing tour. You’ll then have a 30 minute rest stop to explore City Park, the 7th-most-visited urban public park in the United States. You then continue on with the final portion of the tour as you drive by the historic Garden District, St Charles Ave. with its rustic street cars, 150 year old live oak trees and beautiful ante-bellum mansions, and Carollton Ave, until reaching your destination, the airport
