Depart from your ship on a 25-minute scenic drive to Coral World Ocean Park. There the staff will provide you with an orientation and a colorful souvenir map for your 90-minute self-guided tour of the fascinating exhibits. Step beneath the sea without getting wet in the Undersea Observatory. Encounter sharks, stingrays, turtles, and many other sea creatures throughout the park.
Coral World is a rehabilitation center for stranded and injured turtles. Feed the playful rainbow lorikeets a cup of nectar, stroll among native iguanas, and participate in one of the interactive narrated animal feedings and presentations. The friendly and knowledgeable aquarists are happy to answer your questions. Find a gift or souvenir at one of Coral World’s unique gift shops or enjoy refreshments at one of its restaurants. There is no better way to appreciate the beauty and diversity of the Virgin Islands’ marine life.
Depart Coral World and enjoy spectacular views on your scenic drive to the Butterfly Garden, a lush tropical garden teeming with beautiful butterflies from all around the world. Your guide will lead you through the extraordinary life cycle of these captivating creatures. Examine closely the astonishing process that transforms the caterpillar into the butterfly. Your guide will provide informative, highly entertaining commentary on the festive lifestyles of these amazing “flowers of the sky.”
You will have time to visit the unusual gift shop and enjoy a complimentary and highly entertaining bird show. Take a short walk back to your ship through the Havensight Mall for additional shopping opportunities. If your cruise ship is docked at the Crown Bay cruise ship pier, transportation will be provided back to your ship.
