Barcelona has an impressive architectural and monumental heritage, the most splendid exponents of which are Gothic and Modernist designs. The entire city entices visitors to enjoy a walk along its streets and thoroughfares. The city has smart shopping streets such as the Paseo de Gracia or the well-known Las Ramblas. There is a large selection in terms of gastronomy for all tastes, food from the Mediterranean or from any other region in the world.

Your tour departs from the port where the coach takes you directly to the Spanish Village, a real village that displays the different architectural styles of Spain with buildings, streets and squares, in the natural surroundings of the hill at Montjuich. Once you have concluded your free time (approximately 1.45 hours) in the village, you'll proceed with a panoramic tour of Montjuich Hill, which was claimed by the city during the 1929 International Exposition. Today, Montjuich Hill is the most important recreational area in Barcelona. You will pass through the Olympic Ring and make a brief stop at the Mirador del Alcalde before proceeding to Diagonal Avenue to enter the upper Eixample area where the Sagrada Familia Temple is located. From the exterior, your guide will offer a full explanation of all details related to the Temple. From there and on the return to the pier, you'll continue the panoramic drive along Passeig de Gràcia, a well-known boulevard in town. Your guide will point out one of the masterpieces of Gaudi's architecture: the Casa Milà or most known by Barcelonans "La Pedrera House" and Casa Batllo.

Note: Guests must be able to walk approximately 0.5 mile over uneven and cobblestone surfaces with inclines and steps. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Guest will have free time at both the Spanish Village and Sagrada Familia Temple. Guests may need to make alternate dining plans onboard as the duration and departure time may extend into regular dining room hours.
