Your tour to Portobelo will give you a glimpse into the rich history of the area once known as the Paradise for Pirates. Experience the regions rich history with a visit to the Fort and its surroundings. A guided tour of the Gatun Locks will also be included.

It was discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1502, and name Porto Bello because of the beautiful view of the place. Just imagine the fortifications used by the Spaniards to protect their settlements. Imagine the fairs of Portobelo, where many treasures, gold, fabrics and even slaves were trade. It was attacked by Henry Morgan and many others pirates, buccaneers and corsairs.

Visit the largest of the three set of locks on the Panama Canal, Gatun. It is nothing Fancy but impressive to see the vessels doing the complete process.
