This tour will be operated in English only.
You are set ashore by tender to the pier in the centre of Geiranger, where the coaches and guides are waiting.
This small village is one of Norway's best known tourist resorts, and the Geirangerfjord is an UNESCO World heritage natural site.
The coach climbs up the winding mountain road which offers an ever-changing kaleidoscope of mountain farms, waterfalls, lakes and streams. From Lake Djupvatn you will continue up the hairpin road to the summit of Mount Dalsnibba.
From the summit, 1500 meters above sea level, you will have a spectacular view of the Geirangerfjord far below and the magnificent mountain peaks all around.
You will drive carefully down the same road to the Flydal viewpoint to take pictures with the classical Geiranger motif; the fjord with your own cruise ship anchored in the bay.
Note: Should weather prevent coaches from reaching the summit of Mount Dalsnibba, guests will be taken to the Eagles Bend Viewpoint instead. Tour order may vary between coaches.
