This tour visits the lush Botanical Gardens of Cartagena located near the village of Turbaco. Discover why the German Scientist Humbolt did so much of his botanical research in Colombia. Created in 1978, the gardens have grown with thousands of plants varieties donated and replanted from all over the Caribbean coast. Enjoy a relaxing self-guided walk through the gardens following the numbered informative guide signs. On your return to the pier, you'll enjoy a panoramic photo stop of the impressive San Felipe de Barajas Fortress.
