Embark on an exciting eight-hour combo tour that comes jam-packed with an inside tour of the Rock of Cashel, plus an Irish meal in a local eatery and exploration of Cahir Castle’s fortified grounds. Green hills and Irish countryside await you on a 90-minute coach drive to the Rock of Cashel, an ancient fortress surrounded by limestone outcrops. Here you’ll enter the 12th-century Comac’s Chapel to admire ornately carved doorways and some of Ireland’s oldest frescoes. Relish sweeping views over surrounding fields and enjoy free time to stroll and shop in the town of Cashel. Here you’ll savor an authentic lunch featuring chicken, seasonal veggies, dessert, as well as tea, coffee and Irish beer. Then step inside Cahir Castle, former stronghold for the powerful Butler family and one of Ireland’s largest and best-preserved castles. Situated on an island in the River Suir, this beautifully restored citadel holds many somber tales amidst its crumbling keep, tower and defensive structures.

• Rock of Cashel: Be awed by Cormac Chapel’s old frescoes and the fantastic countryside views from this ancient fortress.
• Tipperary: Green hillsides, free time for shopping, and a delightful Irish meal await you in a charming Irish town.
