From the charming town of Molde with its lush vegetation, travel by motorcoach via Eide and the Kornstadfjord to the Atlantic Ocean Road.  Built across numerous small islands, linked together by bridges, the Atlantic Ocean Road was voted in 2005 as the construction of the century by the Norwegians.  On arriving at Geitøya – the goats’ island, board a small boat for the transfer to the island of Håholmen, a meeting place, home and work place for fishermen, seamen and traders throughout many centuries.  After being abandoned for 10 years, the Norwegian adventurer Ragnar Thorseth took responsibility for the island in 1989 and brought the place back to its former glory. The unique and peaceful Håholmen is today once more a popular meeting place. Upon arrival, first view a film recounting the voyages of Ragnar Thorseth and his family as they sailed around the world in the Viking replica Saga Siglar back in the mid-1980s.  The ship was wrecked in the Mediterranean in 1992, however the ship has been rebuilt and is today on display in the hall where the film is shown. The film also shows the three Viking ships Thorseth built over the years.  A short walk about this picturesque island concludes with a break for refreshments before commencing the return boat ride and drive to Molde via a different route.  A short photo stop is made en route at the picturesque fishing village of Bud.
