Please remember to bring your passport with you, as well as any other required documents your cruise confirmation email requests. Make sure to have your documents handy in your carry-on bag for easy access. We ask that guests do not pack passports and other required documents in checked bags, as failure to show these documents may result in denial of boarding.

When you’re onboard, the right look will vary by venue, time of day, and activity. Here are a few types of suggested attire you’ll see, and some recommendations for what to bring:
Daytime: Casual
You’re on vacation – relax! Jeans, polos, sundresses, and blouses are all the right amount of laid back. Shorts are welcomed for breakfast and lunch, but please keep swimwear to the pool deck.
Evening: Smart Casual
Think of this as a step up from your typical dinner wear. Dress to impress with collared shirts, dresses, skirts, and blouses, or pantsuits. Jackets, sport coats, and blazers are snazzy and welcomed.

Additional items we recommend packing include:

  • Medications including motion sickness care
  • Walking shoes
  • Hat, sunglasses
  • Scarf or wrap to cover bare legs and shoulders inside museums and religious sites
  • Travel umbrella/rain jacket
  • Warm clothes
  • Power adapter (without a surge protector)
  • Insect repellent
  • Lightweight collapsible backpack
  • Swimsuit, coverup
  • Sandals
  • Eco-friendly/biodegradable sunscreen, after-sun lotion
  • Active attire
  • Light jacket or wrap
  • Chargers, headphones, etc.

If you are planning to check in your bag to have it delivered to your stateroom, we recommend packing a small bag of essentials to carry onboard. This bag should include: travel documents, medications, swimsuit, coverup, change of clothes, and sunscreen.

Feel free to leave the following items behind as they will be available onboard to use at no charge: pool towels (which can be used in port), soap, shampoo, and hair dryers.

Your health and safety remains our top priority. Learn how we’ll work together to ensure you board and stay healthy so you can have a great time on your cruise vacation.

    Before your cruise

Check in on the app: It’s the fastest way to board when you sail, and when you do, you select an arrival time that doubles as your wellness appointment at the terminal. That lets us stagger guest arrival and reduce crowds at the terminal.
Answer your health questions: If you’ve checked in on the app, we’ll send you a notification the day before your cruise to complete a few health questions. Doing so before you arrive means the easiest boarding experience.

    At the terminal

Arrive on time: Your arrival time is also when you take your pre-cruise wellness check. Please plan to get to the terminal then - not before or after - so you board smoothly.
Give us a hand: Practice hand hygiene by using sanitizing stations throughout the terminal.
Touchless boarding: Guests who check in on the mobile app don’t need a paper boarding pass. Their mobile boarding passes are right on their phones. If guests are sailing out of terminals with facial recognition, we’ll clear them for boarding without even needing to see their boarding pass.
Wellness checks: All guests will have their temperatures checked at the terminal. If the results are at or above 37.5 degrees Celsius, or they show other symptoms, we’ll perform a secondary screening. For the safety of all, guests who present a COVID-19 risk are not allowed to board.

    Onboard the ship

More room for you: We’re sailing with fewer guests and reducing capacity in our onboard venues to allow for appropriate physical distancing.
Medical-grade cleaning: Our new sanitization protocols rival those at the best hospitals, using EPA-certified disinfectants and techniques like electrostatic fogging to clean frequently and consistently.
100% fresh, filtered air: Our HVAC system continuously intakes 100% fresh ocean air, filtering it for all indoor rooms and areas. You can breathe easy knowing that risks from the transmission of aerosol particles between spaces (like those from a cough) is extremely low.
The best medical care: Our high-quality onboard medical care is stronger than ever, with more doctors and nurses on each ship and state-of-the-art equipment. And in the event of a suspected case of COVID-19, we’re fully prepared with immediate medical evaluations, rapid testing, and protocols that will effectively isolate health risks.
Digital safety: You can complete most of your required guest safety briefing on the app or your stateroom TV. After, show up at your assembly station anytime within the assembly window to complete it.
Wear face coverings: Face masks are optional, outdoor/indoor, in your stateroom or on your balcony.
Use the app: You can make dining, activity and shore excursion reservations, use the daily planner to chart your course for the day, and open deck maps to figure out the best way to all the fun.
Practice hand hygiene: You’ll find hand sanitizing stations at the entrances to all venues and in high-traffic areas, like dining rooms and elevators.
Give us a call: Your stateroom phone is a great way to stay away from lines and get your questions answered.
Monitor your health: If you’re feeling under the weather, stay in your stateroom and call the Medical Facility from your stateroom phone.
Sanitization from bow to stern: Sanitization and fogging will occur daily from 3:30 am to 5:00 am at guest corridors. Please stay in your staterooms and away from guest corridors between these hours.
Safe return home: We’ve worked with public health experts to build a robust, tiered response plan and will arrange safe, convenient transport for anyone with COVID-19 on our ships.
