The cruise ship that revolutionized the industry over a decade ago, and continues to do so today, is bolder than ever thanks to a $165 million amplification. Whether kicking back on a Caribbean pool deck or conquering a trio of multistory waterslides, your days will be filled with adventure–and relaxation–on Oasis of the Seas. The excitement doesn’t stop there. Nights spent on board this iconic ship are just as memorable, too. From chart-topping entertainment and a lineup of new activities to more than 20 restaurants and even a bar manned by robotic bartenders, everyone can enjoy a “night out on the town.”

Have a taste for backyard barbecue? There’s a place for that.

Looking to sit back and just enjoy live music? There’s a place for that.

Dying to belt out the best of Britney and move like Jagger? You better believe there’s a place for that.

Here are a few of the many ways you can spend your night on the newly amplified Oasis of the Seas, leaving absolutely nothing on the table:

Portside BBQ serves up authentic barbecue favorites, cooked low and slow to perfection.

Dine & Splash

When the dinner bell rings, kick up your boots at Portside BBQ, Royal Caribbean’s first-ever barbecue restaurant inspired by the best-in-class styles across the United States. The authentic, meat-packed menu is seasoned and slow-smoked to perfection, and features classics like brisket, pulled pork, turkey legs, beef ribs and burnt ends. The casual eatery also serves all the fixings, which include cornbread, fries, coleslaw, mac & cheese, corn on the cob, and baked beans. You can also enjoy southern sips under the stars at this backyard spot with iced tea, brews and, of course, a signature cocktail: Portside Spiked Palmer, a classic Arnold Palmer with a Bourbon twist and notes of peach and mint.

After the family’s final bite, instead of making your way to the latest AquaTheater spectacular by elevator, consider this: Twist and turn down the Ultimate Abyss, the tallest slide at sea (and a shortcut!) that will transport you ten decks below to the Boardwalk (where the distinct amphitheater is located) in 13 seconds. From there, Aqua80 will spin you back to the totally radical decade of the 1980s with out-of-this-world acrobatics and high dives choreographed to the synth-laden tunes of the era.

Music Hall is the hottest live entertainment venue at sea.

The Third Act

The excitement doesn’t end with the final bow. Kids ages 3 to 11 years old can extend the excitement into the wee hours with the reimagined Adventure Ocean’s late-night activities while teens swing by Social298, the all-new hangout for young travelers 12 to 17 years old–all part of Royal Caribbean’s award-winning youth program. Adults can head to Music Hall, a Quantum Class favorite making its Oasis Class debut with an unmatched lineup of live cover bands playing hit after hit. Jam out to your heart’s content on the dance floor or relax in one of the intimate lounges across the two-level venue.

Pro tip: Music Hall also has a self-leveling pool table, so when the ship moves, your game doesn’t.

Take center stage or belt it out with friends and family in one of two private rooms at the all-new Spotlight Karaoke.

The Finale

Music Hall’s cover bands will leave you feeling inspired to strike out on your own. Head down to the Royal Promenade (think of this as the ship’s main street) where the open stage awaits at the new Spotlight Karaoke. It’s here where your inner star will shine with thousands of popular songs to choose from. Belt it out on the main stage or book one of two private rooms with family and friends. Who knows? You may just get your big break.
