Can you tell us about a moment when you went above and beyond to meet a C&A Society member's needs?

It was while Monarch of the Seas was placed in Lose Angeles. I organized a private dinner for Diamond and Diamond Plus members. Not realizing that they were in fact cruise critics. In the end, they created a fan club call the Danny League Fan Club!

What's a new and adventurous itinerary you would give to someone looking for a fresh experience?

Without a doubt, Alaska. Alaska is the best. I've done Alaska 76 times now already throughout my 20 years with the company. People always ask me what is my favorite ship is. But for me, it is not the ship, it is the itinerary.

You attend several receptions, parties, and events on board. Which do you most look forward to and why?

The Captain's reception is the even I look most forward too because that is when I first introduce myself. It’s a great ice-breaker opportunity and a chance to introduce Diamond Plus members.

What is the favorite part of your job?

Honestly, the favorite part of my job is when I make a booking and make the company money.

The C&A are probably pretty interested in your personal on board life. What question do they most often ask you and what is the answer?

Because of my pronounced accent, many of our C&A members ask me where I come from. I reply I'm from the Philippines and to this; they add "You have a nice accent!"

How long have you been with the company?

I’ve been with the company for 22 years.

And why do you enjoy it?

Royal Caribbean International has helped me financially in a big way. Throughout my career, I was able to buy four houses, one hector miko plantation, and three commercial stores. It helped me a lot. I was able to buy 4 houses. One hector miko plantation, and 3 commercial stores, and it's because of Royal Caribbean International.

What might guests be surprised to learn about you?

I'm married with a son!

What, in your own words, do C&A members mean to RC?

First and foremost, it's the loyalty. It's the best and most effective membership club from all over the world. It's even better than airlines loyalty program since with Royal Caribbean, everything is given: the benefits, the gifts, the discounts. In an airline you don't get that. They give you a biscuit, and that's it. With the C&A society, they give you everything. Booking discounts, resident specials, and senior citizen and saving certificates. And it doesn't stop there! When you arrive on the ship you have Captain's cocktail party, welcome back party, platinum, platinum plus special events. My goodness, where can you get all of that? With Royal Caribbean International.
