The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, located at the north end of the coast of the Arabian Gulf, is one of the seven emirates that form the United Arab Emirates. Interestingly, its name literally means "Top of the Tent." But with the majestic Hajjar Mountains grazing the clouds, calm blue seas with clean white beaches stretching over 40 km, dramatic desert dunes, timeless cultural traditions and the special warmth of the Arab hospitality; Ras Al Khaimah could almost mean "Top of the World."
