One thing you won't have to worry about during your cruise adventure is a bored Explorer! All kinds of exciting activities await your 6- to 8-year-olds, like hands-on science experiments, scavenger hunts, theater games, and more. You can feel confident leaving your children with us because every member of our Adventure Ocean staff holds a college degree in education, recreation or a related field and has experience working with children ages 3-17.

Available of Allure of the Seas and starting in 2011 on Oasis of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas, and Liberty of the Seas your kids will enjoy fun activities such as a story time, dance parties and more with characters from the DreamWorks Animation movies. Just imagine the laughs when they meet Alex, Shrek, Fiona and more.

Activities your Explorer might enjoy include:

Adventure Science by High Touch High Tech
Conducted by our specially trained Adventure Scientists, this program combines fun and hands-on science experiments. Featured programs include: Space Mud, Fossil Fever, Meteorology Madness and Buccaneers Bounty.

Adventure Art by Crayola^®
These activities acquaint kids with diverse cultures through art. Explorers are introduced to the fine art of mask making, pottery, fish kites and porthole dioramas. Crayola Adventure Art projects are specifically designed art activities for children ages 3-11. Using art as an avenue for exploration, the lesson plans provide a unique onboard experience for children, incorporating information about specific geographic locations with hands-on art. Crayola Art projects make creativity a part of every child's experience wherever they may travel.

Adventure Theater
Blending educational activities with on-your-feet fun, Adventure Theater participants get a first taste of the actor's craft, in which entire worlds are created with just their bodies, voices and imaginations. Using structured theater games, vocal and physical exercises, and creativity-freeing activities, instructors guide groups through an exploration of the theater arts.

Out Island Activities on CocoCay^® and Labadee^®
Explorers can enjoy Adventure Beach activities on itineraries that call on CocoCay and Labadee. Kids can join the Adventure Ocean staff and participate in Sand Castle Building, Drip Drip Drop, Adventure Family Water Balloon Toss, Beach Relays, Parachute Games and a search for Labadactyl and Cocodactyl eggs. Your little ones can also participate in a fun-filled track experience in kid-sized battery-operated Fisher Price vehicles on CocoCay. These Cadillac Escalades and Barbie Jammin' Jeeps travel approximately 2-4 mph and will accommodate children up to 130 pounds.

Late Night Party Zone
Stay up late with your new friends and have fun! Join the Adventure Ocean staff for late-night games and entertainment. The rate is $6 per hour, per child. Payment is in half-hour increments. Please bring your SeaPass card. Please note that the Late Night Party Zone will close when the last child signs out or at 2:00 a.m., whichever comes first.

Hours

Hours apply to all Explorers programs. At Sea: 9 a.m. to noon, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. In Port: Thirty minutes prior to the first shore excursion to 5 p.m. or return of last shore excursion, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
