Full Description:
Following a scenic 45 minute ferry ride to St. John, your knowledgeable local guide will show you some of the best shopping Cruz Bay has to offer. Visit all the stores at Mongoose Junction (a masterpiece of Caribbean stone masonry) and to quaint Wharfside Landing, which is right on the beach and has many interesting shops. Throughout the island, you will find the best deals, unique local art work, colorful resort wear, t-shirts, handmade jewelry, specialty artisans, unique accessories, and many Crucian and Caribbean souvenirs - all very unique to St. John.
Shop but don't drop as you will have approximately 3 to 3.5 hours to self-explore St. John's island sights, beaches, resorts, and local restaurants. You will be provided with an information package with maps, suggestions, taxi tariffs, and recommended adventures for your personal leisure time on this jewel of an island.
On the ferry return, enjoy a complimentary rum or fruit punch.
What to Bring:
-You should always take your SeaPass card (provided onboard the ship) and photo identification when in port
-Towel if wishing to swim at the beach (available onboard the ship)
-Sun protection and sunglasses
-Camera
-Money for shopping
What to Wear:
-Recommend wearing light clothing and comfortable walking shoes.
-Guests are encouraged to wear bathing suit under clothing if wishing to swim at the beach.
