Enjoy two premier island destinations in one unique tour. Leaving the pier in a safari bus, guides will give you live wireless headsets so you can hear every narrated detail given on this tour. Climbing north heading to St. Peter Great House to explore lush botanical gardens and enjoy panoramic views of Magen's Bay and the distant British Virgin Islands set in the Atlantic Ocean. You will pass by Drake Seat onto Skyline Drive, the scenic artery of St. Thomas.
Then continue your tour to the famous 17th century Blackbeard's Castle Colonial Estates with three manor houses. Blackbeard's Castle is the remains of Fort Trygborg, built around 1679 as a supplementary watch tower. It is located at the top of Government Hill and offers spectacular views of the Charlotte Amalie Harbor. It is a National Historic Site and considered to be one of the oldest ruins in St. Thomas. See the 99 steps, the rum factory, and the amazing Amber Museum with its amber waterfall all leading down into Main Street’s bountiful shopping area. After you finish shopping, you can take a taxi back to the cruise ship pier.
