Depart from the pier by coach towards San Andres, on the way up hills a photo stop will be made at one of the highest points of the Anaga Mountains from where you will be delighted with the breath taking views of the wild landscape. The tour will continue to Taganana, a picturesque village hidden away in a small steep valley and like the rest of the villages in Anaga, preserves the traditions and architecture from the island's past. Among its few buildings, Taganana has a small church in honour of "Nuestra Señora de las Nieves". It is one of the oldest churches on the island and inside there is an authentic artistic treasure, a valuable triptych by the 16th century Flemish school. After you will visit a local restaurant and have some local wine, goat cheese and bread. The tour continues to Monte de Las Mercedes and the Anaga Massif, famous for its dense forest of leafy laurel and spectacular rocks, and to viewpoint Pico del Inglés, from where you will have the best views of the north and southeast part of the island. After this you will return to the pier.
