This tour allows for a panoramic visit the highlights of Ephesus, but not entrance to the Open Air Archaeological Museum. Your guide will provide information about Ephesus from the outside and there will be a photo stop at the Statue of Virgin Mary. The Indoor Archeological Museum of Ephesus is included in the tour. The Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world is your final stop of the tour. You'll conclude your tour with a trip back to Kusadasi where there will be a refreshment stop and brief carpet presentation. Or, if you wish, you may return directly to the ship.
Designed for guests who prefer a more leisurely option with minimal walking, this tour includes a narrated drive through some of the most impressive and famous monuments in Ephesus and concludes with a carpet presentation.

You’ll begin your tour with a drive through the verdant countryside to Ephesus. Upon your arrival at the Exterior Gate of Ephesus, your guide will provide information about the Ancient City of Ephesus from the outside. You will have free time for pictures and shopping at the upper gate of Ephesus while viewing the Odeon.
You’ll continue by coach for a stop at the Statue of Virgin Mary which is almost 3 miles away from the House of Virgin Mary, where the Blessed Virgin is reputed to have spent the last years of her life. The site became famous after the travels of Pope Paul VI, Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedictus XVI.
Your next stop will be at the Lower Gate of Ephesus where you can find souvenirs and facilities as well as more information about the Ancient City of Ephesus while viewing the Grand Theatre from the outside. You’ll proceed to the Temple of Artemis, which is considered as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Temple of Artemis, the goddess of hunting and the chase, once stood around the bay of the Meander River. Today, the temple is considered as a holy place for pilgrimage. You’ll conclude your tour with a trip back to Kusadasi where there will be a refreshment stop and brief carpet presentation as well as time for shopping.
During the tour, you’ll receive a gift set, a map of the city, and bottled water.
