Bermuda Island Drive - BKD7
From aboard a bus you will tour the entire length of Bermuda, view pink sand beaches, azure blue waters, and Gibbs Hill Lighthouse where you can enjoy the 360 degree views offered from the base. You will have approximately 15 minutes in St. Georges a "World Heritage Site" and approximately 30 minutes in the Capital city of Hamilton for shopping and sightseeing. This roundtrip bus tour covers the entire length of the island of Bermuda and includes views of the island’s famous pink sand beaches. Your driver/guide will pick you up shipside and head out through Dockyard into Somerset Village. You will pass over Somerset Drawbridge, the smallest drawbridge in the world. A photo stop will be made at the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, where you can enjoy the 360 degree views offered from the base. A coastal drive allows for an even more impressive view of the South Shore beaches with pink sand beaches, azure blue waters and the imposing barrier reef that encircles the island. Pass by the Botanical Gardens and drive to St George’s, a World Heritage Site, where you will have an approximate 15 minute rest stop in the unique old town. You will then make your way into the City of Hamilton the Capital of Bermuda where you’ll have an approximate 30 minute stop for shopping or sightseeing, before the return drive to your ship.
