Wild West Clear Kayak Tour - BK45

On this fully guided and narrated shoreline kayak tour you will enjoy views of rocky coastlines, uninhabited islands and natural beaches. Along the way, your guide will point out coastline creatures such as Bermuda longtails, egrets, herons, and various crustaceans. Beneath you lies a variety of coral, fish, and turtles which you may view through the glass panels of your kayak. Following your approx. 90 minutes of paddling with plenty of stops for commentary and rest, you will have the opportunity to swim and relax at the beach before your return to the pier. Wear a swimsuit, and don't forget your towel, sunscreen, and a hat.

Explore Bermuda’s rural west-end above and below the ocean’s surface during this distinctive glass bottom kayak tour! After boarding a shuttle to a calm water beach site, you will receive instruction on kayaking and safety, and subsequently you will be issued a life jacket and a stable sit-on-top double kayak. On this fully guided and narrated shoreline tour your guide will pick the best location and tour route depending on weather conditions, and you will enjoy views of rocky coastlines, uninhabited islands and beaches. Along the way, your guide will point out coastline creatures such as Bermuda longtails, egrets, herons, and various crustaceans. Beneath you lies a variety of coral, fish, and turtles which you may view through the glass panels of your kayak.  Following your tour you will have the opportunity to swim and relax at the beach before your return to the pier. Complimentary refreshments are available. Wear a swimsuit, and don’t forget your towel, sunscreen, and a hat.

Participants must be between 5 and 90 years old, between 36 and 84-inches tall, be able to paddle a total of 90 minutes (with periodic stops), and be in good physical health. Maximum weight of 350 pounds is based on a combined weight limit per 2-person kayak. Persons with a history of heart, respiratory, limited mobility, back problems, upper body mobility limitations, or any major disorders should not participate.

Guests must consider their physical fitness level and medical history when determining whether this tour is appropriate.  Guests with cardiac conditions, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, other heart or respiratory conditions or any other medical condition must take particular caution when selecting a tour with snorkeling/swimming elements, since such water activities could be subject to adverse sea conditions such as high winds, waves and sea current.  Guests who have concerns must consult with their personal physician before engaging in any activity that may be strenuous for them, particularly those involving snorkeling/swimming elements.
