Travel back in time to December 7, 1941 and relive the events that surrounded that fateful Day of Infamy. You’ll embark on a moving journey covering the attack on Pearl Harbor through a film, fascinating displays and a short cruise, allowing you to board the USS Arizona Memorial where over 1,000 men still lay entombed. Following your visit to the Arizona Memorial, you’ll cross the Ford Island Bridge for a visit to the Pacific Aviation Museum.  History comes alive at the Pacific Aviation Museum.  The Museum is dedicated to showing the patriotism, valor and sacrifices made by the American aviators in the Pacific. You’ll see classic and rare WWII American and Japanese airplanes in the environment in which they fought, telling the story of one of the most important historical events of the 20th century. The museum is housed in a 1930’s era hangar on Ford Island, renovated to display the aircraft and to allow visitors to explore in air-conditioned comfort.

Handbags, backpacks, camera bags or other items that offer concealment are not allowed at the Arizona Memorial. Guests are reminded that they are visiting a site of tremendous loss of life in service to the United States.  Sandals are permissible, however out of respect for those who gave their lives, bathing suits and profane T-shirts are discouraged.. Due to the Arizona Memorial's popularity, delays at the venue may be unavoidable.  Due to recent cut backs to the Navy Shuttle Service, the movie and boarding of the Arizona Memorial cannot be guaranteed.  All other venues at the Pearl Harbor Visitors Center, including the Exhibit Halls and displays, are available during your visit.
