This excursion makes it easy for those with limited mobility to discover the war-era history of Normandy. You'll drive through the scenic Peninsula of Cotentin on your way to the American Cemetery in the village of Saint Laurent. Then, it's on to Omaha Beach, site of the legendary D-Day invasion. You'll also visit Sainte Mere Eglise, where a church damaged during the battle for Normandy, as American forces fought to dislodge Nazi snipers from the belfry.

Travel past the French coastline where land mines and other dangerous obstacles were once lodged during the war. View memorial statues and the Walls of the Missing at the Normandy American Cemetery.
