Full Description:
Just off Grand Cayman's north shore lies a sandbar located just on the inside of Cayman's famous Barrier Reef. The sandbar is inhabited by a family of southern stingrays who over the past twenty years, have become extremely friendly to man and enjoy interacting with visitors.
Qualified guides and snorkeling equipment are provided and after a short general safety orientation, you will be able to don your snorkel gear and swim in the shallow waters amongst these wonderfully graceful creatures. This tour is in relatively shallow water (usually 3- 7 feet), but the depth can change significantly depending on the tides. Meet such characters as "Ray Charles", "Sugar Ray", "Martha Ray", and other members of the Southern Ray family as filmed by National Geographic and Discovery Channel.
At a pre-determined time, you will re-board for the return trip to the cruise ship pier in George Town.
What to Bring:
- You should always take your SeaPass card (provided onboard the ship) and photo identification when in port.
