Enjoy walking with our knowledgable guide, learning about our culture, climbing the only existing manual swing bridge, visiting the St. John's Catherdral, and joining the hustle and bustle downtown where you will have the exciting opportunity to shop from many souvenir vendors and taste local fruits and snacks.
Your tour will start with our well informative local guide ready to convey the historical and cultural aspects of Belize. You will enjoy walking along the Caribbean Sea, where you will pass the first customs building, visit the Baron Bliss Light House and Memorial Park, view a landmark once used by British Servicemen, and pass an Old Colonial Building once known as a Mansion and then the 1st Private Hospital. You will climb the famous Swing Bridge, the only existing manual swing bridge in the world where you will get the opportunity to take fabulous pictures of sailing and fishing boats in the Belize City River. You will pass through our downtown area where you can shop from souvenir stores and taste some local Belizean fruits and grabs. You will visit the oldest church in Central America built by both Slaves and British Servicemen; you will view the Old Government House, the Bliss Institute, the Supreme Court Building, and Battlefield Park.
Note: If rain is forecast for day of visit, it is suggested to bring a rain jacket. Then return to the Tourist Village.
