Experience a trip on ancient local vehicle the tram. This used to be the most widely used mean of transportation by the city's inhabitants and many of them are genuine vintage vehicles, brimming with charm and history, which link the many districts of Lisbon, built on seven hills.

Overview: Discover Lisbon's rich history as the capital city of Portugal while relaxing on a comfortable tram ride around significant landmarks, prominent monasteries, and historic neighborhoods. Hop on a tram from Estrela Square, traveling through nearby hills and downtown's Baixa district, with its bustling squares and pedestrian-lined streets. Journey through Alfama, the city's oldest locality, filled with medieval castles and lively Fado bars. Admire Manueline architecture at Jeronimos Monastery, where explorer Vasco de Gama once stayed.
Highlights: Scenic Tram Ride: See downtown Lisbon landmarks and Baixa's popular squares traveling in a comfortable tram and enjoying refreshments. Important Notes: Guests must be able to walk approximately 800 yards over even and cobblestone surfaces with steps. Tram itinerary is subject to change without prior notice due to maintenance work. Interior visits to Jeronimos Church are conditional to religious ceremonies that may occur without prior notice. The Jeronimos church is closed on Sunday mornings and Mondays. No exposed shoulders or knees in church.
