You’ll receive an audio player and a customized map with a suggested itinerary covering 2.5 hours of walking to the main points of interest. You’re free to visit the city without a schedule or a group to follow. The audio player will be yours for the day, so spend as much or as little time as you like at each venue. Since there are no schedules to keep, have a meal, take a break for refreshments, or spend time shopping whenever you want.
The iPod is a full-stereo media player with provided earpieces that allow you to listen to all the facts and history of this remarkable city while walking at your own pace. Simply consult the customized map to find each location and then go to the indicated number on the player for a detailed description of the site and its history. There are more than 30 points of interest programmed into the player. Follow the suggested route or set out on your own adventure, moving about the city with ease following the detailed map and audio directions.
Your exploration of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter is limited only by your personal wishes. Some of the main points of interest will be the Columbus monument, Rambla Street, La Boqueria Market, Santa Eulalia’s Cathedral, Sant Felip Neri Square, and the Roman walls.
