Board your coach and depart for an approximate 45-minute drive to the beautiful seaside town of Rapallo. The area is connected to the mainland by a single-span Roman Bridge over which, according to the legend, Hannibal crossed during his invasion of Italy. Upon arrival to this famous resort, you’ll see the 16th century castle built as a defense against the Saracen raids.
You’ll have time for shopping or a stroll before boarding your coach for the drive along the Paradise Coast. At a local restaurant, you’ll enjoy the authentic flavor of Ligurian food when you taste the original handmade pasta and pesto.
The return drive to Genoa will be via the motor-way.

What to Wear:
-Comfortable walking shoes and light clothing are strongly recommended.
-Strict dress codes are enforced for religious sites and short pants, tank tops and revealing clothing are not acceptable. Shoulders and knees must be covered.
-Guests must be able to walk approximately 1 mile over cobblestone and concrete surfaces with steps and inclines.
-Time permitting; guests will have approximately 30 minutes for shopping while in Rapallo.
-On Sundays and during mass services, access to religious sites may be restricted.

-The drive to Rapallo is approximately 45 minutes and the return drive to Genoa is approximately 1 hour, dependent upon traffic conditions.
-This tour will be offered for the Mariner of the Seas - only for guests debarking in the port of Civitavecchia, Rome.
