Begin your journey with an approximate 45 minute ride from the ship to Vall d’Uixo and the San José Caves. Board your boat to descend on a subterranean journey by the longest navigable underground river in Europe. As you enter the silent depths of the Earth along calm waters, nature's incomparable hidden beauty emerges. Listen to the murmur of the water and hear the echo produced by a drop of water falling on an underground lagoon. Experience the dramatic transformation of the rocks, sculpted by water over thousands of years. Witness the continuous growth of stalactites and stalagmites, and discover a beautiful landscape in search of the Bat Cave, the Dog Kennel and Diana’s Lake. Following your cool and relaxing visit to the caves, re-board your coach for the return ride to Valencia.
Upon arrival at Central Square Market, follow your guide on a walking tour to admire the city's most impressive landmarks. View the gothic style buildings housing the Silk Exchange, an exhibition pavilion with an impressive façade constructed on helicoidal columns. Depart from the Central Square for a panoramic ride to the Carmen Quarter, Torre de Quart, Casa de Beneficencia and the IVAM, a modern art museum. Proceed to Torres de Serrano to view the Plaza de la Virgen and enjoy a brief opportunity for independent exploration or shopping. At the designated time and place, meet your guide and continue past the exterior of the cathedral before resuming your panoramic tour of Valencia. Proceed past the t’he City of Art & Sciences, through the Avenida del Puerto and cross the river, continuing on the Gran Via and Calle Jativa. Prepare your cameras as you pass the bullring, Central Station and Calatrava's City of Art & Sciences before arriving at the port.
