Unleash your inner explorer during an exciting day in the beautiful colonial city of Antigua. You'll have time to plan your self-guided route on a narrated 90-minute drive through Guatemala's scenic countryside. Then grab your provided map and explore at your own pace. Visit museums, art galleries, churches, historical buildings shops and restaurants. Stroll down cobblestone streets and admire colonial architecture in this former capital of Guatemala. Staff will remain continually available at drop-off location. Highlights: • Antigua: This magnificent city is a World Cultural Heritage Site with preserved monuments and ruins dating from the 16th-century. • Colonial Antiqua: Built on a Renaissance-style grid, the city was once the center of Guatemalan culture, religion and politics. • Self-Guided Tour: You'll receive a map with suggested points of interest and specific instructions about meeting time and place.
