Full Description:
Falmouth is known for being one of the Caribbean's best preserved historical towns in the Georgian architectural style. In this historical town, your guide will provide you with fascinating information regarding the various buildings and residences that make up the landscape of Falmouth.
You will visit St Peter's Anglican Church, one of the largest and oldest Anglican Church in Jamaica. You will also visit the famous William Knibb Baptist Church where a private tour guided by a Pastor or leader of the church has been arranged especially for you. On the church property see the burial site and hear the history of the Emancipator and hero, William Knibb and his Family.
You will then visit a rural school where you will have some time to interact with the children.
You will make your way to an 18th century estate situated on the banks of the Martha Brae. The 200+ acre estate is privately owned and now developed by the family who currently live on the property, however with its rich history it is now opened to visitors.
You will be greeted by friendly staff, many who have worked on the estate for over 30 years. See Mr. Bones demonstrate the art of climbing a breadfruit tree and picking the fruit, learn the history of the monumental inscription on the tombstones on the property, see the over 300 year old cotton tree with a face – dubbed’ the tree of life’, then cool down with a swim in the river Jamaican style.
Your day of discovery is completed with a truly sumptuous taste of Jamaica including Jamaican jerk chicken, fresh fruits, juices, and Jamaica’s famous rums. You will dine in a beautiful rustic setting by the river before making the relaxing return to the port.

Important Notes:
- The school will be closed for Easter Holidays and from the end of June - August.
- Only persons who can swim will be allowed to swim n the river. The signing of a waiver is required.
