Take a drive through Madeira and discover the beauty of this wonderful island. From the lookout point at Pico dos Barcelos, you will have a spectacular view of Funchal and the surrounding villages which dot the rolling countryside.
From high atop the volcanic cliffs of Cabo Girão, you can admire the breathtaking scenery along Madeira’s southern coast.
Passing the lovely vineyards of Estreito de Camara de Lobos, you will soon reach the fishing village of Camara de Lobos. You will see the red-tile roofed houses clustered on the rocky point and brightly colored fishing boats anchored in the harbor. One of the village’s most prominent visitors was Sir Winston Churchill and you’ll understand why he loved coming here to relax and paint.
