Enjoy a narrated motorcoach drive along the Gastineau Channel on your way to one of Juneau's most inspiring locations - the Mendenhall Glacier. Your driver will talk about the history of Juneau, provide you with glacier tidbits and discuss what life is like in the capital city as you navigate down the Mendenhall Valley. You will have over an hour to enjoy the solitude and beauty of this natural wonder. Walk along the short trails, including a fantastic photo point where you can capture an unobstructed view of this river of ice. Inside the visitors center, view interpretive exhibits or watch a short film on the glacier's history and browse the gift shop.

Enjoy a narrated motorcoach drive along Juneau's Gastineau Channel and through the Mendenhall Valley on the way to the blue ice of the Mendenhall Glacier. Pass by Gold Creek, where gold was discovered in 1880, and the Mendenhall Wetlands State Game Refuge. Soon, the valley slowly reveals the magnificent treasure hidden at its end. Guests have over 1 hour to spend at the glacier, walk the trails, snap exquisite photos and explore the visitor center.
