OVERVIEW: This tour takes you to some of Corfu's most enchanting landmarks, places of unique natural beauty and colorful villages.
HIGHLIGHTS: The first stop on your tour is at the Bay of Paleokastritsa where you will enjoy free time to explore before a photo stop at Lakones Village. Stop in Makrades Village to enjoy "meze" (Greek snack) and taste local wine or ouzo at a taverna. NOTES: Guests must be able to walk approximately 1 mile over varying terrain, inclines and 20-30 steps.

Highlights: -Bay of Paleokastritsa: Enjoy free time to explore -Lakones Village: Photo stop -Makrades Village: Enjoy a snack with wine or ouzo at a local taverna Full Description: Starting with a 25-minute drive through Corfu’s countryside which is covered with olive groves, pine, cypress, lemon, and orange trees, you will cross the valley which spreads out over most of the island's interior. You’ll soon arrive at the Bay of Paleokastritsa, one of the most beautiful spots on the island. In Paleokastritsa, you will have time for independent exploration.
From Paleokastritsa, you will ascend by coach to the traditional old village of Lakones, built high on the mountainside, offering a panoramic vista of Paleokastritsa. A short photo stop provides you the opportunity to take some breathtaking pictures. Your tour continues as you reach the traditional village of Makrades. Here at the local taverna "Colombos," you will enjoy a traditional 'meze' or Greek snack and taste the local wine or some famous Greek ouzo.
Your tour continues over the western section of the Pantokrator mountain range, the highest point on the island. What to Bring: -You should always take your SeaPass card (provided onboard ship) and photo identification when in port -You will need Euros and/or credit cards for any purchases as foreign currencies are not accepted. -Camera
