Full Description:
Drive through the lush countryside to Paleokastritsa Bay, known as the 'Capri' of Greece, where your guide will provide a brief orientation of this beautiful place. Enjoy free time before continuing to the traditional village of Lakones and the Golden Fox Cafe for a panoramic photo stop. Locals know this location as 'God's Balcony' because of the spectacular views it offers of the scenic Paleokastritsa Bay, the surrounding hills, and of the entire island.
Following your relaxing break at Lakones Village, the tour continues over the mountain ridge passing through some of the traditional villages on the northern side of the island. After approximately 45 minutes, arrive in Corfu Town for a guided panoramic tour of the town by coach. See the ancient ruins of Palaiopolis, the summer palace of the ex-King of Greece, Mon Repos, Garitsa Bay, the 14th century Venetian Fortress, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage monument, Esplanade Square which was once used as drilling grounds for Napoleon Bonaparte's soldiers, the Royal Palace of St. George and St. Michael, built by the first British Commissioner of the island in the 19th century, the old port, crowded with traditional 'caiques,' the 16th century Venetian Fortress, the open-air flea market, and San Rocco Square, before your return to the ship.

What to Wear:
-Comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
-Hats and other forms of sun protection are highly recommended.

-Time permitting; guests will have approximately 30 minutes total for browsing and shopping at the various stops.
