“Those who seek paradise on earth”, George Bernard Shaw once wrote,
“should come to Dubrovnik”. Today, he might add that Dubrovnik is the place for all those who wish to renew themselves and their faith in human nature.
Upon disembarkation driving by coach over the new panoramic road to the view point, where from the magnificent view over Dubrovnik and its Riviera can be enjoyed.
The bus than takes you down to the Pile Gate and and you will find yourselves at the beginning of the famous main street - the Stradun.
Along the way you’ll stop to visit the Dominican Monastery with the finest collection of Renaissance paintings in Dubrovnik. The Cathedral is built over the remains one built in the 12th century, and destroyed in 1667 by a disastrous earthquake. Today its treasure contains one of the finest collections of gold and silver in Europe. Other fine buildings will be viewed from the outside: the Sponza Palace notable for its column courtyard with elaborate stone carvings, Church of Saint Blaise, Onofriou’s Fountain, Cathedral, etc.
At the end of walking tour and free time in the Old Town return transfer will be organised back to the ship.
What to Bring:
-You should always take your SeaPass card (provided onboard the ship).
-Original photo identification is obligation when in Dubrovnik due to Port Security controlling.
-Camera and cash for shopping (most stores accept US dollars and credit cards)
-Sun protection, sunglasses, and bottled water as it can be quite warm/sunny in Dubrovnik during the summer months.

Strongly recommend wearing light clothing and comfortable walking shoes.
