This tour will be conducted with a Spanish-speaking tour guide and is intended for Spanish-speaking guests. A stroll through the Field of Miracles to view the Leaning Tower of Pisa is something all travelers to Italy must experience. A 30-minute drive and a 15 minute walk delivers you to the piazza where you will enjoy some free time to explore.

Your tour begins with a 30-minute drive to the beautiful Renaissance city of Pisa, a great 11th century Mediterranean trading and military power. Upon arrival, a short walk will take you to the Field of Miracles. Your tour escort will give you a specific time and place to meet and then you will have free time to explore the site independently.
Within the Field of Miracles, you will see one of the most famous structures in the world; the Campanile, or Leaning Tower of Pisa. This famous Bell Tower leans more than 16 feet out of perpendicular. You will also see the facade of the Cathedral of Pisa, built in the Tuscan-Romanesque style.
What to Bring:
-You should always take your SeaPass card (provided onboard ship) and photo identification when in port
-Camera and cash for shopping
-Sun protection and sunglasses
What to Wear:
-Light clothing and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
-If guests want to enter religious sites, conservative dress is required with knees and shoulders covered.
-Guests must be able to walk approximately 0.5 mile over paved flat surfaces with 5 steps into the cathedral and extended periods of standing and waiting.
-The walking distance between the Field of Miracles in Pisa and the parking area is approximately 15 minutes each way.
-An escort will accompany the coach to/from Pisa to answer questions.
-A visit to the interior of the Leaning Tower is not included as part of this tour. Entrance to the tower is approximately 15 Euros per person. Tickets have a specific entrance time and guests should be aware that this time may not be within the period of your stay in Pisa.
-Entrance to the cathedral, baptistery and Campo Santo is not included as part of this tour. If you wish to independently visit the baptistery, cathedral or the walled cemetery of Campo Santo, an admission fee is required, so plan to carry local currency (Euros) with you.
-The cathedral is closed on Sundays, during special events and mass services. Photography is not permitted inside the cathedral.
