Full Description:
You’ll meet your knowledgeable English-speaking guide at the pier and begin your 3-hour guided walking tour of Cannes. You’ll start at the Festival Palace where the International Film Festival is celebrated every year. There, you can enjoy comparing the handprints of many film stars in the cement floor around the building. You will then take a nice stroll on the seaside palm-lined boulevard of La Croisette with sandy beaches on one side and chic boutiques and hotels on the other.
You’ll proceed to Rue d'Antibes, the main shopping street of Cannes and cross the Allées de la Liberté Square, a traditional place of "pétanque.” You’ll arrive at the charming old town of Le Suquet and its 17th century Provençal Gothic church. See the long tree-lined terrace offering a beautiful view of the whole town, the harbor, the ocean, and Ste-Marguerite Island.
